Y R U single?

In conversations with stwo single women recently it seems that the thirsty factor is way too high. From what I have observed, in successful relationships, there is an obvious display of respect and support for the woman - the man as well (but I'm talking about women).

Okay so, this woman has a man that is a married truck driver that she's been, let's say seeing, for over a decade. Now I understand most things, but why succumb to being the second woman, the lesser important woman, the less supported woman, the lesser woman? Shouldn't this relationship have soured by now - should've. Shouldn't the wife have found out by now and put an end to this - should've. Shouldn't the lesser woman have desired by now more attention and love? .....more committment and respect? gosh I'm stupefied.

If I sound judgmental, it's because I hate a weak woman. Do something for yourself. Don't dwell. Love yourself, your children, God! It's a marvelous thing in what happens to self confidence when you assess your life, assume responsibility, and count it all 'Life 101'. It's just hard to see a beautiful sister having such a blind eye to the way things should work and not knowing when to say this is not how it goes.

So another lady has a hard time finding a good guy. My advice to a woman that doesn't meet anyone or anyone desirable (clearing throat): sit down in front of a mirror and look at yourself. If you look good then it's your personality. Work on whichever one or both. Here's a trick - find men you'd accept for your husband then look at their wives. If you don't fit well within their circle of wives then that's why you can't have that type of man. It's safe to say that if you find a man who's family is just like yours - that might be your match.

I've found that the most important factor that a man can employ is knowing yourself.......your abilities, what you like, what you don't like, how to conduct yourself and business, what you will allow, how to have fun, how to seduce a man, how to clean a home, how to pick up a fallen baton and finish the race.....etc. The rules are blurred when you bring more to the table than sexual abilities and good looks. Learn how to tie a cherry stem with your tongue, and don't be shamed to take a parenting seminar. Let's be real for just a second.......Men like smart women. Be that.

Alicia Keys the Slore

I was just over at snitch's and over the weekend Mashonda, Swizz Beats still current wife, tweeted a letter to Alicia Keys about Alicia needs to be sensitive and respect her position as wife until they are formally divorced. Well it seems that Alicia was tweeting about feeling all googly and talking about being in-love.
"I don't pretend 2 no wht luv is 4 every1, I can tell u wht it is for me;
8:24 PM Sep 25th from web love is knowin all abt some1, & still wantin 2 b wit thm more thn any other persn. love is trustin the enuf 2 tell thm everythin abt urself,
8:23 PM Sep 25th from web evn the things u might b ashamed of,love is feelin comfort&safe wit some1,but still gettin weak knees whn they walk n2 a room & smile at u.”
8:22 PM Sep 25th from web

Mashonda felt disrespected - so she counter twittered with this 10 page letter:
After having a great evening with my son and enjoying some fun twit chat, I decided to sign off and get some work done. However, a few hours later I was advised that I should check @aliciakeys twit page. I've never reached out to her on twitter before. I feel our issues are a lot more serious than a website conversation. Not to mention that I've reached out to her many times in the beginning of this whole thing, as any wife would do. Unfortunately, I never succeeded in getting a response. The 1st time I meet AK, my husband introduced us to each other at an event. ( I have no choice but to call him my husband, until he is not anymore) In the messages that I sent to her (AK), I made it very clear that on the contrary of what she might be hearing, I am still married to my husband, living with him and just had a child. Its been two years and I still have not received a response. What I do receive, is constant displays of selfishness and disconcern to me and my son.

I was a fan of AK's last album, we were both signed to J Records and I always checked up on her projects. I sang her songs and admired her for creating Superwoman and Karma, I would never deny her, her talent. I believed in her until I found out she was possibly sleeping with my husband. The affair was denied by both, until it was finally admitted months later.

Already I can hear some of you saying " why are u blaming her, You cant make someone leave their wife, You cant break something thats broken". Well, my marriage was not broken, as far as I knew we were celebrating our sons birth and getting ready to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary . Call it blind love, whatever. I call it being a devoted wife.. As far as me blaming her and not blaming him, thats false. Me and my husband have worked out our differences. We are in a good place as people and as parents. I accept his choices and I am comfortable enough with myself to move on. I am so very blessed in many ways.

My concern with AK is no longer the fact that she assisted in destroying a family but that she has the audacity to make these selfish comments about love and wanting to be with someone, even after knowing their situation. How is this the same Superwoman that I sang out loud with in my truck? I ask myself sometimes.

If you are reading this Alicia, let me start by saying, you know what you did. You know the role you played and you know how you contributed to the ending of my marriage. You know that I asked you to step back and let me handle my family issues. Issues that you helped to create.
Im not saying everything was perfect all the time but no relationship is perfect. We made a vow to God and I believe you should have respected that, as a woman. I know you owe me or my son nothing but I just wish you would've handled things more carefully. I'm not judging you, I put you and the whole situation in the hands of God, the Higher Power. Just know that as a woman, I expected so much more from you. I never had intentions on reaching out to you this way but after reading your twits tonight, and the constant disregard, you left me no choice. I feel that after 1 and a half years of you hiding this affair and acting like it doesnt exist, that now is the time to confront it, since you talk so openly about it now

This is not a publicity stunt, I dont have a record coming out. I just need to close this chapter in my life and that means confronting our issues. There is a small child involved. His dad loves him to death and he wants to spend more time with him but hes afraid because he knows we don't have a relationship. This is my main concern. My son NEEDS his dad and I NEED to be comfortable with you. For him!

I know many will see my point and many will not be able to look into what's real because they only want to see Alicia Keys the celebrity, not the human. This is not for the "people", this is for you. Like I said I was left no choice but to reach out to you this way. By now, Im sure you want to find a balance in this as well.

I read your tweets tonight and I felt they were very insensitive. You have no idea how much pain I was caused because of this affair. Its baffling to me that you don't understand what I might have gone through with this situation. I dont consider myself a victim anymore, Ive learned alot from this! I just ask you to try and be a bit more realistic and delicate to the situation, at least until my divorce is final. I felt me attending the party would have been a starting point for us, since you shook my hand after I offered it, but I suppose I was wrong.

If its so, that you and my husband are meant to be together, then God bless you both and I hope you never have to deal with what I did. I would not wish it on my worst enemy. If you two being together forever is the case, its more of a reason for us to get along, because I'm not going anywhere. Theres a child to be raised.

To answer your tweet, choose smart over spark. Sparks burn everyone, be smart! Its simple actually, just think of the shoe being on the other foot.

Stay blessed and lets work this thing out with respect and dignity.

I say:
Yeah, she needs to gather herself and move on. Yeah, Alicia Keys shouldn't respond to this needless damaging one-sided banter/ harassment. Mashonda lets her husband off the hook but is publicly asking to be friends with Alicia, praising her even? Man I wish-I-would! I'm the prize. I'm the woman - not the MMF (married man __cker). While I take my vows seriously, I can't speak for my husband. He has his own soul, mind, and body - and can do with it what he wishes - as can I. But I'm going home to my husband - none other.

This twitter mess got me to thinking why Mashonda leaves a bad taste in my, and I'm sure, your mouth? She's cute. She's talented. She's ambitious. But it's that Alicia Keys is interesting and seemingly untouched, somehow pure. crazy. Looks are deceiving. Though still Alicia and Swizz Beats make a physically appealing couple - so they win. All the effort Mashonda is putting into reaching out to Alicia will be fruitless. Alicia wants your man boo, not his child, not you. Mashonda just chill. Skanks want him while they can't have them, married men are only a conquest. They don't want to be a wife - just the outlet for an affair. While I don't know how or why, or when with whom - I do know that Jesus himself said 'blessed be the merciful, the mourners, the pure of heart'!

So keep it together Mashonda. Give it to God and wash your hands of it the best you can.

Matthew 5
You're Blessed
1-2 When Jesus saw his ministry drawing huge crowds, he climbed a hillside. Those who were apprenticed to him, the committed, climbed with him. Arriving at a quiet place, he sat down and taught his climbing companions. This is what he said:
3"You're blessed when you're at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule.

4"You're blessed when you feel you've lost what is most dear to you. Only then can you be embraced by the One most dear to you.

5"You're blessed when you're content with just who you are—no more, no less. That's the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can't be bought.

6"You're blessed when you've worked up a good appetite for God. He's food and drink in the best meal you'll ever eat.

7"You're blessed when you care. At the moment of being 'care-full,' you find yourselves cared for.

8"You're blessed when you get your inside world—your mind and heart—put right. Then you can see God in the outside world.

9"You're blessed when you can show people how to cooperate instead of compete or fight. That's when you discover who you really are, and your place in God's family.

10"You're blessed when your commitment to God provokes persecution. The persecution drives you even deeper into God's kingdom.

11-12"Not only that—count yourselves blessed every time people put you down or throw you out or speak lies about you to discredit me. What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and they are uncomfortable. You can be glad when that happens—give a cheer, even!—for though they don't like it, I do! And all heaven applauds. And know that you are in good company. My prophets and witnesses have always gotten into this kind of trouble.

Paula jokes when nothing is funny...........

I haven't been a fan of American Idol since Fantasia won the 3rd Season. But if you can believe it - they have completed auditions for Season 9! I can only name 3 or four winners, let's see:
1.) Fantasia Barrino
2.) Kelly Clarkson
3.) Ruben Studdard

Truth is - I watched until I noticed the rules changing too frequently, and that real singers were eliminated for no reason.

It's just appalling to me that American Idol is seriously creating a Season 9. The show is so played. The contestants they pick are too safe for me. Once the hopefuls get to 'Hollywood' the intensity is drawn out of the show to become politically correct, and ultimately gets boring. Well now they ax Paula Abdul - who was too sentimental to me anyway - and replace her with Ellen DeGeneres?

This show was never about real talent and now that is evident. They could have chosen A&R from Arista or from Cox Records - But Ellen? What expertise does Ellen bring to the show? Dancing or singing, performance? Nope. Just humor – if that’s what you call it?

So Paula does this tired little jig to drop a splash of humor into an otherwise completely bitter departure from American Idol - and I'm not buying it. Paula is weak and easily overpowered by Simon - and that was well past getting on my nerves. So now it'll be Randy against Simon with Ellen as the tie-breaker? I can't say it's sad to see Paula go, glad actually, but why didn't you take the whole show with you?

Good Hair & Indian Hair

Shouts to SA for the movie info.............

Several months ago I just decided to get a weave. It was an experience I'd rather leave to someone else. As for me, it was comparable to wearing a flea infested heavy wool blanket on my head. I haven't lost my desire for long hair, but I have lost my desire to wear a weave.
I choose to perm my hair once every month to 2 months and flat iron pretty much daily. I've tried everything though. But now I just enjoy my hair being soft, sweet smelling, and blowing in the breeze. Yes, I'm addicted to 'creamy crack'. Am I brainwashed? No. Do I want to look like my Caucasoid/ Latino sisters? No. I'm just glad there are chemicals that won't sizzle my hair down to the nub or leave me with a head full of hay. Women can choose to do as they wish and that's what I promote - doing what feels good to you.

But what I am against is these ladies and children in India shaving their heads as an offering but the so-called offereing ends up on the head of any random weave wearing woman you or I might know. If we're all in this together - everyone needs to be on the same page. Sisters we are wearing the religious offerings of women who don't even know where their hair is going. Ya'll need to know and they do too.

Tim Wise: On White Privilege

Mr. Wise is a racist or realist, I can't decide. I'm leaning towards realist because he references history which can be verified. But racist possible because his platform remains focused on the black/white divide - always showing the white portion in the worst light. Race problems will always exist simply because ignorant people will exist. Ignorance will always be the loudest and the most identifiable - and the easiest to exploit. An over-abundance of proof that racism is no longer as effective is all around us. But the incarceration of black  and latino men is effective. Racism doesn't have to be a separate water fountain - it is easily done by removing opportunites for men to succeed. give us that back.

I hate blogging about race because someone always ends up a little offended. But it's important, important to be a voice for those who are okay with blacks, whites, Asians, Arabs, and South Americans, Africans....whatever, etc. Most all people are fine by me. I don't care if you haven't learned English - your choice. I don't care if you drive a gas guzzler or a smart hybrid car. I don't care if you pray or don't before a meal - I will. I even don't care if you don't/ won't say 'Bless you' or 'Excuse me' at the proper times. I have settled in my soul to allow people to live as they wish - so long as I am free to do the same.

I hate weak people, and bullies, frightened people, and stupid people, people that are reckless, and people that waste money and won't/ don't/ can't prioritize. I hate racists, and people that a too serious or not serious enough, people that pass their foolishness onto their children, I hate people that care nothing about our environment, and those that are needlessly mean spirited. I hate people that beyond high school seek no additional knowledge, I hate women that intend to live their whole lives either dangling on a silly man's every word or dropping it low and jumping bed-to-bed instead of growing gracefully wise. I hate men that have no backbone, don't speak their minds, and men that don't state what is right. And I hate a whole laundry list of other things that I'm sure at one point or another I'll share. Not now.
But I love All races.

Kanye's stole Taylor Thunder....

If ever there is a dull moment - no worries - look to Kanye to shock those that are easily shocked. Last night Kanye bumrushed the stage during Taylor Swift's acceptance speech for Best Female Video and said Beyonce had one of the 'best videos of all time'. Normally he says what should be said, but since his mother passed his attitude is becoming reckless and mean spirited. Though I agree with his statement he was wrong to interrupt the girl's actual acceptance speech to broadcast his feelings. Poor Taylor, but it was funny. To see how happy-go-lucky she is to have an award basically ripped from her pale mousy fingers - hilarious.

HE came back and apologized for her being offended, but what was said needed to be.......Kanye Tweets today an apology that probably poured salt on her gaping wound, lol.
I’M SOOOOO SORRY TO TAYLOR SWIFT AND HER FANS AND HER MOM. I SPOKE TO HER MOTHER RIGHT AFTER AND SHE SAID THE SAME THING MY MOTHER WOULD’VE SAID. SHE IS VERY TALENTED! I LIKE THE LYRICS ABOUT BEING A CHEERLEADER AND SHE’S IN THE BLEACHERS! ………… I’M IN THE WRONG FOR GOING ON STAGE AND TAKING AWAY FROM HER MOMENT!…….. BEYONCE’S VIDEO WAS THE BEST OF THIS DECADE!!!! I’M SORRY TO MY FANS IF I LET YOU GUYS DOWN!!!! I’M SORRY TO MY FRIENDS AT MTV. I WILL APOLOGIZE TO TAYLOR 2MRW. WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD!!!! EVERYBODY WANNA BOOOOO ME BUT I’M A FAN OF REAL POP CULTURE!!! NO DISRESPECT BUT WE WATCHIN’ THE SHOW AT THE CRIB RIGHT NOW CAUSE … WELL YOU KNOW!!!! I’M STILL HAPPY FOR TAYLOR!!!! BOOOYAAAWWWW!!!! YOU ARE VERY VERY TALENTED!!! I GAVE MY AWARDS TO OUTKAST WHEN THEY DESERVED IT OVER ME… THAT’S WHAT IT IS!!!!!!! I’M NOT CRAZY YALL, I’M JUST REAL. SORRY FOR THAT!!! I REALLY FEEL BAD FOR TAYLOR AND I’M SINCERELY SORRY!!! MUCH RESPECT!!!!!
luvs it...

This makes me think back to two occasions:
-The first, when Kanye was grieving during a concert and let his heart flow concerning the death of his mother:

-Then the time he said George Bush didn't care about black people on live TV:

Kanye seems very racist.  I think that he's only with Amber for retaliation against 'The Man'. Since his death defying accident and his subsequent rise to stardom he seemed to be a voice for the people - militant black people that is. Lyrically he was colliding real life situations with well written lyrics and crazy unheard-of beats delivering them straight from his heart. But when his mother died all that stopped. Heartless, Stronger, The Good Life - all align with him grieving and trying to put closure to his mothers death.

So yeah, I watched Taylor Swifts E! True Hollywood Story and it was cute. She started writing before she could talk and playing the guitar in the womb, blah blah blah. Cute, really cute. But just cute.

NOT 'Single Ladies' which was more like an epidemic. I love Beyonce. Some might argue that videos are something that an artist can't do onstage, but I say whatever is appealing and promotes the song. So whoever's idea it was to give Taylor Swift an award above Beyonce was smoking.

Thanks Ye for bring light to how at times awards are given as promotion to an artist.

Obama and the 'Liar' heckler.............

Who cares about the disrespect, this Joe wilson is a fool. Do your thang Obama, get this healthcare reform underway...

1 - What Congress really wants is to get its hands on all that loot the med insurance companies already steal from us.

2 - Congress is desperate and looting the med ins industry is their latest target.

3 - Congress wants to divert all the premiums collected by med ins companies into their hands.

4 - Only about 15% of the people will, at any time, use gov't med ins (not everyone gets sick at the same time) so that will free up 100s of billions for Congress to take and spend elsewhere.

Caster Semenya - Brother or Sister?

They say after testing Caster is a hermaphrodite. I hate this. Blacks have long been known to dominate athletics, no surprise. But this situation is about color and origin. Many athletic women produce less and less estrogen over time - which produces the manly muscular physique that most say is a cross between man and woman. But because this woman, who is handing their asses to them, is not marketable - they throw up this man thing.

I think that if the doctor turns to you in the delivery room and says it's a ____, then that's what you are. By reports, they say she has testicles inside that never descended, and a pouch that leads nowhere, no ovaries, no cervix, but a clitoris. The reports say that though she has higher than normal testosterone levels, she is still within the limits of what a woman would have. I think that she should be allowed the corrective surgery that hermaphrodite babies are given to choose either male or female, surgery of sexual ambiguity. It is estimated that intersex conditions occur in one per 2,000 live births.

So this is common.

But why is that black female athletes are always looked at as grotesque, or manly, when other women are seen as fitness professionals. Examples:

Billie Jean King - Tennis Pro

Chyna - Wrestler

I couldn't care less that Caster Semanya is a man. She can run really fast and has an opportunity that some higher ups are trying to steal from her. So, my stance is that this black woman gets my support and admiration for doing HER thang and staying true to herself, if none other. This is surely an embarrassment to her and her family, and I hope they can keep their heads up. Check out the video below, I love this dudes take.........

The Rainbow Twanger

This is an actuall piece of kids TV show "Rainbow". It was broadcast some time in the early 80's in the UK. Don't know how they got away with it!?!? personally I think the producers were on acid.

Diddy's Dirty Money video

Video and Song are so hot I'm melting. I love it. I  hate Diddy so I'm jamming and hating all wrapped up together. Auto-Tune lives! whew!

I'm so done with Dawn and Diddy's love affair. It so boring. why does he love boring women? Just guessing, but Dawn and Diddy been at it for a while right? Just guessing.....She was getting it in with both the whole time. I bet that was a business decision on Diddy's behalf. I bet Dawn was totally down for the whole thing.

Entertained??????

I love a good laugh, really I do. So I secretly find humor in everything......but I haven't been laughing lately - nor am I entertained.

So Maia Campbell is in treatment and doesn't want to be there. They say she needs like 50,000,000 prayers....oh and she's diagnosed with co-occurring bi-polar/Manic depression but with drug abuse the symptoms are like schizophrenia. I realize the addiction to the drug doesn't want her to go into treatment - so hopefully she'll stay and regain control of herself and her life's direction. Good luck on that.

But was I entertained? No. I was saddened.

Jermaine Jackson, super strange tail, is a mess. I just find it hard to tune into what he's saying because of the hair and his face, it's so hard. He really reminds me of Nipsey Russell's rendition of the Tin-Man.
Well I'm not sure what's going on, BUT they say he's been trying to put together a benefit (benefiting whom?) in Vienna, Austria that several big names would be performing such as: Mary J Blige, Chris Brown, Akon, Natalie Cole, Sister Sledge, etc. Well Mary and Chris both claim to not attached at all. There's even a video of Mary and Kendu exiting a restaurant looking confuzzled at the comment of performing or even knowing about this concert. The Jackson family wasn't endorsing this concert or going to be there - so I'm feeling so irritated by him. The fact that he married a woman that was either married to or involved
Exclusively with, has 2 sons with her, and names one - Jermajesty, just sounds crazy odd. He smears that black goop across his head just creating a hairline, no one is fooled, and that don't look nan like Steve Harvey.

Not Entertained.
While on the subject of the Jacksons - Janet. I know I can't give her any slack, she's alright, a lil' freaky - but cool. She just wrapped up filming Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married Too in Atlanta. Harper's Bazaar did an interview with Janet where she said that she has recently broken it off with Jermaine Dupree after 7 years. Odd since he just got a likeness of Janet on his ribs back in May. I wonder why the break?

I believe I'll be entertained when the movie comes out.

Divorce is supposed to be final, but for Jon and Kate Gosselin it's just the beginning it seems. They've gotten more press since their divorce than when they were shooting out kids at a per mile status. I hated Kate. She is strong and really loves and knows her children, but she was such a nag. And Jon was so immature to let her constantly treat him like one of her brood. But mostly it was her. She never shut up, she always has to have the last word and that's fine, but she never showed respect for him. So he's come out recently to talk about their break and how it came about, but we all knew and could tell why - but comes off as a child speaking on adult issues. Talking about how he beat him down, how she abused him.....blah blah blah. He is so useless. This is waht happens when you marry young and immature, now look at him 'having a mid-life crisis in his thirties'.
I might be wrong but there is a noticeable balance of soft and hard in a man that's beautiful when done well. He talks about how she separated him from his family and his friends, how she told him that couldn't go anywhere. What real man does that? She wasn't happy with him, and seemed more into the television show than anything else. He was totally unhappy, boring, childish, and unmanly. They would have never made it and if they did it would have been because it was forced. I, for one, am glad that is over (washing my hands with that).

Obama's Speach to Students Released Early....

Below are a few excerpts I found noteworthy:
You’ll need the knowledge and problem-solving skills you learn in science and math to cure diseases like cancer and AIDS, and to develop new energy technologies and protect our environment. You’ll need the insights and critical thinking skills you gain in history and social studies to fight poverty and homelessness, crime and discrimination, and make our nation more fair and more free. You’ll need the creativity and ingenuity you develop in all your classes to build new companies that will create new jobs and boost our economy.

We need every single one of you to develop your talents, skills and intellect so you can help solve our most difficult problems. If you don’t do that – if you quit on school – you’re not just quitting on yourself, you’re quitting on your country.

Every single one of you has something you’re good at. Every single one of you has something to offer. And you have a responsibility to yourself to discover what that is. That’s the opportunity an education can provide.

That’s why today, I’m calling on each of you to set your own goals for your education – and to do everything you can to meet them. Your goal can be something as simple as doing all your homework, paying attention in class, or spending time each day reading a book. Maybe you’ll decide to get involved in an extracurricular activity, or volunteer in your community. Maybe you’ll decide to stand up for kids who are being teased or bullied because of who they are or how they look, because you believe, like I do, that all kids deserve a safe environment to study and learn. Maybe you’ll decide to take better care of yourself so you can be more ready to learn. And along those lines, I hope you’ll all wash your hands a lot, and stay home from school when you don’t feel well, so we can keep people from getting the flu this fall and winter.
Click here to read the entire speech.

My take: I can't see what is wrong with this speech, nor can I see anything wrong with the President of the United States addressing the youth personally. It's a shame that Obama gets so much slack for trying to tactfully handle our youths problems escalating from lack of direction/ positive reinforment. This speach is nothing never-before heard of, it - to me - sounds very fatherly and Daddy Bush did this and so did Reagan. But I guess some overly-sensitive and/or republican voters feel that they should be the only ones to speak to their children about these subjects. I just know that the backlash that Barack is receiving is laced a tad with racism and leftover hateful feelings from the election. But those that feel this way are not sensitive the concept of 'it takes a Village...' Some children aren't spoken to like this, some don't have parents, some are alientated for being smart or dumb...I think there is a neglected sector that this speech will impact.

Way to go Barack - You're really doing your thing.

Where R They Now - Maia Campbell

Maia Campbell is best known for starring opposite LL Cool J in UPN's sitcom 'In the House' as Tiffany Warren. Since the show wrapped Maia has dealt with at least one trip to a Mental Hospital ending with a being diagnosed her as bipolar and schizophrenic. There was a video years back that I tried to find, to no avail, that showed her smoking crack from a straight-shooter, but I did find one of her on a trip singing topless.

I'm never the judge, so I can't be distracted by Maia's wild behavior. I know my own heart and remember how lost I was, so I just remember to include 'and all those lost' when I pray.

Maia is the daughter to Bebe Moore Campbell, author and playwright. Bebe passes away from complications related to brain cancer in April of 2008, and I don't think that Maia has properly mourned her mother because of her disorders. With the publication of her most recent novel, '72 Hour Hold' she also became an activist of sorts on mental-health issues. The novel, about bipolar disorder, was said to have been about her daughter Maia. Throughout her work, Ms. Campbell sought to counter prevailing stereotypes of black people as socially and economically marginal.

Based on the responses from people who've seen the video of her going off on a trip, I'm sure that someone like Debbie Allen or LL could reach out to her and get her the type of help that a person dealing with a mental disorder and an addiction needs. I don't want Tiffany Warren back, it'd be fine with me if she would stop getting high and video-taping it.

UPDATE...

Not sure if this dude is telling the truth, but beyond his infomercial he said he said Maia was begging for change for chips and a soda, and that he knew her from being 'down and out' in the hood.......

Didn't know that U didn't know...

So a feature on my blog is to add e-mail addresses to send my posts out to. Well, I could only add ten and most likely you're reading this in your e-mail. So unbeknownst to you this is not all there is. I have a super hot blog ready for your reading and commenting pleasure and you are welcome any time you wish by visiting:

I'd be honored if you would subscribe to my blog, visit my Blog Roll, a list of sites that I frequent and think are absolutely great, AND COMMENT! I know that seems like a lot, but I'd love to have that dialogue created with you, yes - u. Hope to see you there.

Monkey? Is that all you got?

I really have problem with everybody, for some reason or another, just as I have problems with myself. For clarification, all types of things irk me....a myriad of stuff. Their breath, fashion sense, teeth, how folks drive, thier fears and how they don't address that, that people don't use spell check, older people that act young, young people that act old, people that do everything possible to not use technology.....etc. That list could go on and on and freakin' on, but one thing that doesn't irritate me is the status of melanin levels, or skin color. Problem is.......I was blessed with the ability to read people by interpreting thier non-verbal signals and body language, and I connect spiritually with them. So I know without you telling me what you're all about. nuf said.

Well in my morning surf I found a story about Costco selling these dolls Called Lil' Monkey. Costco put out an apology saying they didn't want offend anyone, blah, blah, blah, oops, sorry, blahzeae blahzae, whoomp dee doomp.....
Not feeling Them at all anywayz. I, not only do not like thier brands, I don't like how they chose to put-up shop in a totally non-convenient part of town from my house, lol (Sams all the Way). Well, I began to wonder how many people had to see this and thought that it wasn't a good idea and still allow this to enter the market. I wondered too how a little baby girl wearing a hat labeled Lil' Monkey, sitting beside a stuffed monkey holding a banana didn't trigger any smart business person's 'bad idea' alarm. The reason I say that is black people are the only race that buys black dolls. Blacks and all other races buy white dolls, but no other races buy black dolls. So to think that blacks would still buy a doll donning a hat that clearly is calling the black playing with it and the babydoll, and the monkey - Lil' Monkey - is straight up crazy. Now I blame Costco - what they did was racist. The person who selected the item for the store and the buyer that entered the PO was either foreign or racist, but not South American. They know all about the Blacks being called monkeys (example 1,2). But the stockers had to be too, any person that allowed this item to remain on the shelves for as long as they did.....racist.

The company, Brass Key Keepsakes, either makes or remakes the Disney Princesses....like Jasmine, Cinderella, Snow White.......and this is the same company that made a doll called Lil' Monkey. Click to send a non-supportive email. So basically what I'm saying here is This Brass Key Keepsake company, Costco, AND Disney are all officially boycotted by me, not for only wasting so much plastic in packaging, but for hating blacks, and the craziest part is that I'm not even sure who I'm offended by. I do know though ignorance & racism are close cousins to weak & pathetic. I won't get mad - I'll just expose them and boycott.
My girlie in her Beauty and the Beast Belle cfostume - totally not a monkey.
