Arizona's Pearce Problem...

This dude, Russell Pearce, the Senator from Arizona sponsoring the SB1070 Bill, a bill designed to identify, prosecute, and deport illegal immigrants. Arizona's Governor Jan Brewer signed the bill April 23rd. 90 days from that day the bill would be enforced, which would have been today, but Federal Judge Susan Bolton filed an injunction that blocked many of the most controversial parts of the bill, temporarily. So it's not yet a crime to be Hispanic standing on the side of the road soliciting work, with no papers, no ID, but with tools.

Russell Pearce has a long history, one riddled with supremacist group memberships, racists remarks, an abusive nature towards his wife, and tampering with state driving records. In a recent story on NPR, he was quoted as saying, "I believe in the rule of law … I've always believed in the rule of law. We're a nation of laws."; and "I will not back off until we solve the problem of this illegal invasion. Invaders, that's what they are. Invaders on the American sovereignty and it can't be tolerated."
Alongside the adults he has also another bill SB 1097 that targets students in public school that are illegal immigrants. The text of this bill reads that schools districts are required by Arizona law to collect data on the amount of illegal students enrolled. Second, the bill requires a report estimating the costs of taxpayer money being used to educate illegal students. Third, if the school district does not fulfill the requirements of the bill, the superintendent of public instruction may deny and hold back the state aid provided to the specific school district.

There is a piece of this story that I feel is the most important, and that is that his wife, LuAnn, whom he is still married to, filed for divorce and stated in the filing that in 1980 Russell choked her and threw her down. I wanted to choke my son the other day and throw him down cause I asked him to take out the trash and he slung his body for the first few steps, neither here nor there, lol! But all of these things go together...racism, a violent nature, lying, deceit...Jus' sayin'.
I didn't load this post with links, cause if you know me then you know I do my research. I just think it's important to know who you're standing behind. I stand behind working hard, fending for family, doing what it takes, bettering situations, giving a chance to those that would otherwise not get one, rehabilitation, adaptation, inclusion, sacrifice, and most importantly charity. There's a drug problem, sure, but why can't America and Mexico work together to figure this one out?

Hillbilly Highway - Devin the Dude, Lil Duval

Devin the Dude may be known for sharing his love of sticky icky in his music, but he's about to bring that same passion to the big screen. The Houston emcee is currently wrapping up production in Atlanta on the urban marijuana comedy 'Hillbilly Highway,' co-starring Florida comedian Lil Duval, produced by comedian Eddie Griffin and written, created and directed by Damon 'Coke' Daniels.

The film, which also stars Tiny Lister. Jr, Erik Estrada, Gary Owen, Tommy Ford, Keith David, Jasmine Burke and more, focuses on a pair of pot-smoking brothers, Earl and Ray Ray, who go on a quest to find a highway in Kentucky that leads to a "marijuana nirvana." While on the road, the two become embroiled in a fight between two families - the Gatfields and McCroys (based on real-life families Hatfield and McCoy) - and are chased out of town after the families realize that the pair is trying to make off with the weed.

''Hillbilly Highway' is really going to take people by surprise,' said Eddie Griffin. "We have a fantastic team and working with Damon 'Coke' Daniels has been a great experience. I can't wait for the camera to stop rolling so I can see the finished product." Daniels went on to discuss his goal to create films similar to another successful African American director. "I'm building an urban comedy brand similar to what Tyler Perry did, but much more raw and edgy,' added Daniels, whose credits include 'Who Made the Potato Salad' and 'My Baby's Daddy.'

'Hillbilly Highway' is finishing up production next week, though there is no release date set. Devin the Dude, who has never starred in a movie, recently released his sixth studio album, 'Suite 420,' earlier this year.

Watermelon flavored Beer

I'm sure you've heard tried, or seen this Four Loco or Joose flavored beers that are sweeping through the H. A 32oz can cost $2 and everyone knows someone who drinks them. Urban dictionary defines Four Loko as cocain in a can. I tried one, okay three. They're gross, I just wanted to make sure, and then make really sure. It's funny to sit around and laugh at the idea of flavored beer, and then watermelon of all flavors, lol!

U know they don't have to send out any advertising or coupons, no television spots, no nothing....just put in on the shelves and stand back. They have grape flavored, lemonade, green apple flavored...the list goes on, oh yeah...fruit punch, lol! All our favorite koolaid flavors rite? Mite as well have called it 'red flavored'!

I'm not offended, i think its funny. Funny that I've spent more than $.50 on this atrocity. I've had my last. I didn't realize how bloated beer makes you feel. I was willing to try one because I hate beer, the malty taste, the froth...not my speed. I like sweet or fruity drinks, which is why I tried a Fo Loco. thought I could be one of the cool kids, drinking beer, lol.

I'll stick with my Moscotto D'asti, my margaritas and daiquiris, my Amaretto and orange, and my Ciroc and Red Bull.

Next they'll have Reese's flavored beer, lol, or better-yet sweet potato pie flavored beer. There is a major offense here, one that I cannot quite put my finger on, but if I had to point in the direction, It's made by the government and it's basis is racial comedy.

Going Loko for that Loko!

3 Ways

If you know me, then you know I'm down for reading anything and for the most part I can side with several different perspectives to the point of agreeance with any or none. Well, browsing this morning I saw this pic of Rihanna, Matt Kemp and Melissa, and it struck a chord in me...what if this was an ongoing three-way relationship?

I've seen two functional 3-ways in my life, and I can't say for sure, but I think they looked very happy. There are, I'm sure, another set of arguments, another toothbrush, an extra dresser drawer, more clothes to wash, but besides that what might be the pro's and con's of a polyamorous lifestyle?

Maybe an extra female could stay at home and take care of the kids during the day, an extra male could be an at home handyman, everyone could work and rake in the money, bedroom time could possibly be as mundane as 2ways (I'm sure, the wild stuff only lasts until u get used 2 it), bathroom time could get a little congested, another pallet to please when cooking, another set of in-laws, yet another set of dreams to support. Sounds to me like it could work, but with all the extra effort that it takes to incorporate more than one person, I'm sure someone is neglected somehow, and that, I'm sure, is an ordeal to get over. I need the attention all on me, and all that kissing is probably simple facade, I can't imagine every member having a deep connection. Jealousy is probably as front stage as the attraction, because the connection couldn't be as strong since you're sharing yourself right?

Don't think that I've been recruited, if anything I'm more interested to observe any relationship in terms of how whomever relates to each other. I'm eager to learn or at least consider different ways to enjoy or please someone, ya know like learn a new move or way to resolve some conflict. At 30, I think I'm at the cusp of graduation into a truly adult lifestyle, and if not by now then soon, I should be practicing whatever Imma do, ya know? Not just in terms of professional title, but who I am as a woman and child, as a mother, friend, companion, relative, co-worker, consumer, etc. I think it's important to address every fear and barrier head-on rather than ignore and allow uncertainties to rot and multiply to the point where it's uncontrollable. Someone asked me what my biggest fear was and my honest answer was 'ignorance'. I've wanted to be smart my whole life, and while I'm a little smart, truthfully I'm also very dumb...dumb about how to interact or respond sometimes, how to begin something from raw form and how to follow through, sometimes the correct thing comes right out, other times I struggle. I think it's all in living and learning, but all this is a journey to discovering who I am and what is most important to me.

Back to the freaks....well, I can't say for sure, but I'd be willing to bet that all that free love and uncommittedness won't last...and that's what I want. I wanna stand before my grandkids and tell them about when I and whoever met, tell them how we came over, how we used to love on each other, how we used to fight, how we would agree and back each other. That's what I'm looking forward to, and you can't do that with 4 people in the bed.

Comment anonymously and speak on whether u'd consider a relationship consisting of more than 2.

Too $hort

They say that $hort Dog was trying to get it in with some underage girls the other night when he got into a fist fight with some bouncers. Short comes back with a response that basically says he would never take advantage of an underage woman.

I'm not the judge but what makes Too $short feel that is a sufficient response. On the real, he's been disrespecting women since way back. Pimps or players, whatev...stand up straight and speak carefully to an older woman to assume the appearance of respect, like saying 'see I don't disrespect all women jus ho's'. I have listened to $hort maybe 4x in my life, and each time I wasn't entertained. I didn't wanna dance, nor did I want to get with him.

So who is his audience? Men? yup.

I guess we're all grown and we can listen to whatever we wanna, but I'm not believing this cat anymore. He's got grey in his beard, and still trying to run groupies. And isn't he from the eighties? His groupies should have aged, young girls shouldnt even be subject to his music (if that's what you wanna call it). I mean with more modern similar rappers out there with equally as nasty lyrics and better beats, $hort shouldn't even sell tickets, have shows, or get a chance at backstage love. How old is this dude, 45?

Whodini? Grand Master what?

I hate feeling young. It seems everyone i know is older than me, and just knows a different era of music and pretty much everything. I HATE it. There are so many things that I have no clue about like I didn't know who KRS1 was....I really don't know if I even spelled it right, lol! Like who?!?!? I even asked, 'So he raps'?

Funny.

Who cares. I have other talents. I can do thing with my....now isn't the time, :)

So, I'm not really motivated or inspired really, I haven't heard anything that I think is awe inspiring. Wait a minute, that may have sounded like disrespect, but it really is ignorance.

So, this is my plea to all of the ol' schoolers, haha, hip me. Seriously, you have to give me some map to follow or suggest something. Whodini? Grand Master what?

A new Venture...

yeah yeah...been a while...gettin' it from everywhere.

It's crazy how people comment to me about my blog but won't click on the comment button and say it there, why? It used to burn me up...it felt like no one was reading and my blogged thoughts were in vain....but no. I have some readers, thanks.

Okay so I'm inspired. Yes, again....I wanna do some film projects. I've been writing but I don't know what the hell I'm doing, and even got a camera, but don't have anything to film. I don't want to mimic anyone, and I don't want to follow the same path as I'm sure many others that conform to what the audience thinks is interesting or funny.

Nardwaur the Human Serviette interviews like none other and does so with taste, revealing surprisingly very human facts about celebrities. What is entertaining for me about him is how quirky he is...the whole voice, coupled with the attire...yeah, very funny.

I'm inspired...I think I could do something, not sure what...but, something.

I have an opinion that many of you don't agree with, but what I appreciate is the reasoning of the other side. I don't always agree with the other side, I agree both ways mostly. I don't have to be left or right, I have no problem being grey.

There are great films out there, why Tyler Perry is still whirling around in a dress...not sure. The thoughts of grown black women and men is far beyond slapstick, racial comparison jokes, Vulgar VH1, and BET Bullshit. I talk politics. I like history and culture. I like literature, I read dammit. My limit is not comedy and sex.

I hope to do something soon...If you have any ideas or would like to be in film...you know what to do...yeah, hit comment, lol!
