Sex Offenders face new Hurrdle

Can't run, can't hide.....Registered sex offenders' employment, school and occupational license information all are now visible by anyone interested via the online registry. The rapists and child molesters dare complain because they have hard times finding jobs, they call it a hurdle, lol.
“This is not keeping the public any safer,” said Molnar, whose son is a convicted sex offender. “It’s a feel-good law. It’s a tremendous problem. We want them to reintegrate into society and lead productive lives, and they can’t do that when they don’t have jobs.”
Wow, It took me forever and a month to find a job, and I'm holding on like a baby monkey. Now I'm not the judge so I won't go condemning anyone, but life is just that - life. Deal with it. Be glad our technology is not where it will assuredly be with the Retinal Scans and Human Identification chips, bar codes, etc. All that is totally worth a click. My point is each action calls for reaction. You send naked picture messages of yourself and they end up in episode #42,798 on You know you Dead Azz Wrong, where 25 commenters discuss your belly fat, and cluttered and dusty belongings - who's fault? yes, yours. You, a 24 year-old man cruise around the local high school eventually picking up a hotpants girl that swears she is 18, but honestly is 16 or 14, and her parents rightfully call the cops on you, give your license plate info, and you get convicted of statutory rape - someone else's fault? I think not. Okay maybe they're not comparable, but both are crazy common and people will judge you regardless to the real deal. Do I think that consequence/ judgement should follow you electronically for the rest of your life? Criminals, yes. Naked picture Messages, no.

Mashonda BLASTS Alicia!!!!!!

nah jus' kidding. Mashonda gives way worse 411 than Rick Ross the Boss's BM Tia.......at least Tia tells the story. Mashonda gives a watered down interview via KendraG.com, and does a bad job of hyping up her supposedly forthcoming CD (again, supposedly due out late '09). I can't say that I am interested in hearing any music from this chick, but I'll preview her single on zshare or limelinx possibly prior to download. If she's smart she should tell her story in an arena where she can make a little money while doing so, like a concert or promo interview. If she's a singer - I could appreciate another Mary J, not to say Keisha Cole isn't the ish, but for real - there's just something blah about that girl. Back to Mashonda, I wish she would go full-drama on Alicia and Swiss Beaks and not let them get away with whatever is going on. With a name like Mashonda, it should be going down, but I guess. If it were my man - I would pretend ballistic on his and her azz to demonstrate what bull I will NOT tolerate. I guess the grown woman thing to do is just walk away with your dignity, maybe her way is best - maybe mine. Either way I hope she is able to gather together enough to sustain herself independent of that inevitable fat support check due her, besides rapping or singing that is. Good luck on that Shonda.

Guantanamo Bay Lies and North Korea Test Missles

yeah right Nanc, Americans have imagined the torture that was going on in Guantanamo Bay. Scary but true. Wrong? mmm, not sure exactly. While it's wrong to pour water over a person's face during interogation to make them believe they are drowning, what's really wrong is for bomb handy criminals running free pissed off making thier way to the US to show us what's up. now that's wrong. Do what you gotta do. But while all the this is going on, those North Koreans are not playing with ya'll mf'in azzes. Better pay attention, again, they are not playing!

Facebook

Okay so as part of my New Years resolution, I said that I would follow some trends, since I am the ever-so-constant rebel. So when I saw that my husband joined Facebook.com I thought that I would too. It's been cool, but beware, it's really easy to add people as Friends when you don't even know/like them. crazy right? It's only been a month and I have around 60 so-called friends. I signed up on twitter too, but that is not going as well, I really need to start that up, but when is enough enough? I like people and all, but do I want just anyone to know my each step, or other personal things? not sure, but nonetheless it's there if you want to catch up with a lost homie from the third grade. blah....

Nick Cannon vs. Eminem?

Nick Cannon was pretty steamed over Eminem’s brutal lampooning of the singer and his wife, Mariah Carey, in the song “Bagpipes from Baghdad, which appears on Eminem’s new LP, Relapse. Cannon wrote and then quickly took down a long blog post where he accused Eminem of being racially insensitive and “still obsessed with my wife, the same female that wouldn’t let him get to second base from eight years ago”; Eminem later said Cannon had misinterpreted the song. Entertainment Weekly talked with Cannon on Thursday about the issue. “I felt like I said what I had to say,” Cannon said. “I didn’t take [the post] down, like, ‘Oh, somebody instructed me to do it’ or anything like that. It was just one of those things, like, I said it.” As for the real reason he took the post down, Cannon said it had to do with the traffic to his Web site, which “pretty much crashed my site. There’d be thousands and thousands of comments and people couldn’t leave comments on other posts or any of that stuff. So that was the only reason why I took it down.” And while noted that he doesn’t have any regrets about what he said — “I feel exactly the same way by it and stick by everything, but I think it’s one of those things where it becomes that it’s not really that big of a deal, you know?” — he did say he has no beef with the MC. “I never even considered it as beef,” he said. “It’s not beef. It’s just, Hey, I heard the record. I said what I had to say.” Cannon went on to praise his relationship with Carey. “I feel that my relationship with my wife is one of the best things — or the best thing — that’s ever happened to me, and it has nothing to do with celebrity or this industry. It’s all about, you know, just love and finding love and being happy and respecting the union that it is.”

Single Ladies Much?

Mmmmmh, not as gotcha as Single Ladies, but a good video nonetheless. Too many similarities, not enough individulaism. I hate her hair, it looks so unnecessarily thick.

Nigerian Witch Children

The Niger Delta is an oil-rich region but the wealth does not reach the people who live there. The locals blame their hardship on the Devil but international analysts point to the oil industry's large-scale contamination of air, land and sea. In the documentary, the charity worker visits one of the pastors, a man who calls himself "the Bishop" and who claims to be able to drive evil spirits out of "possessed" children. At his church in Ibaka, the Bishop pours a homemade substance called African mercury, a potion of pure alcohol and his own blood, into the eyes of a young boy lying on a table. "I want this poison destroyer to destroy the witch right now, in Jesus' name," he says. Leslie's Take: It's sad but true. Some cultures adhere to what I can't find another word for - witchcraft, voodoo. All the chicken sacrificing, holy oils, and collection plates can't satisfy the evil hunger in Africa. It's so everwhelming. For a country rich in oil, the people seem very misguided, but after a short documentary like this one, I may be a bit biased. The pastors of the churches should be condemned and labeled witches. Adults should care for children not push them out into the street. What a fool to do this to a child from your womb. God bless them all.

Arrest Ordered For Colleen Hauser, Mom Of Boy Resisting Chemo

Authorities sought to arrest the mother of a 13-year-old boy with cancer who refuses chemotherapy after she fled with her son and missed a court hearing Tuesday on his welfare. A judge issued an arrest warrant and ordered that Daniel Hauser be placed in a foster home and be sent for an immediate examination by a pediatric oncologist so he can get treated for Hodgkins lymphoma. "The court's priority at this point is to try to get Daniel Hauser and get him the care he needs," Brown County District Judge John Rodenberg said. The cancer is considered highly curable with chemotherapy and radiation, but Daniel quit chemo after a single treatment. With his parents, he opted instead for "alternative medicines," citing religious beliefs. That led authorities to seek custody. Rodenberg last week ruled that Daniel's parents, Colleen and Anthony Hauser, were medically neglecting their son. continue Leslie's Take: While I support natural remedies, technology has come a long way and has proven itself over time. If it were my child, I would seek several educated opinions and pray grace and guidance. I can't imagine her trying to kill her son, but I knew a woman when I was younger, a Jehovah’s Witness, that refused a transfusion and passed on. Somehow I believe that God blesses this world with the capabilities and we should use them. I could almost go as far to say to refuse them is blasphemy.

Geto Boyz' Willie D Ipod Fraud

A Houston rap artist was arrested Wednesday night on wire fraud charges, according to the U.S. Department of Justice. [SIGN UP: Get headlines and breaking news sent to you] William James Dennis, also known as "Willie D" is charged with wire fraud stemming from his alleged sales of Apple iPhones through a company known as Texas One Wireless. The U.S. Attorney's Office says that beginning in September of 2008, Dennis, posing as an electronics salesman, used eBay to establish his credibility with international buyers. Once buyers showed interest, Dennis allegedly directed them outside of eBay to conduct sales via e-mail. Numerous foreign individuals placed orders with Dennis for iPhones and other electronics. Story continues belowAdvertisementDennis allegedly required payment to be electronically transferred to his bank account and once the transaction was confirmed, Dennis would send tracking numbers for packages that were never shipped. When the buyers complained about not receiving their purchases, Dennis allegedly claimed he had filed a complaint with the U.S. Postal Service or hired carrier and that he could not refund their money until he knew where his goods were. Eventually, Dennis would stop communicating with the alleged victims. Dennis was arrested at Bush Intercontinental Airport Wednesday after returning from a trip overseas. If convicted, Dennis could be sentenced to up to 20 years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine, followed by up to five years of supervised release and restitution to the victims. Dennis was the lead member of a Houston rap group known as the Geto Boys. Between 1989 and 1996, the group recorded a number of hit songs and had some albums that went gold and platinum. In early 2005, the Geto Boys released a reunion album that was written and produced by Dennis. Dennis founded Relentless Music Ventures in 2006 and signed other groups.

Miss California Old news and doubts that anyone really cares, but Miss Callifornia - the Miss USA contestant that answered the same sex marraige question is responding to nude photos of her.
Carrie Prejean says photos taken of her as a teenager had been released "surreptitiously to a tabloid Web site that openly mocks me for my Christian faith."
I love the Lord, and surely don't want to interupt Carrie's walk with Christ, but I have never heard of Christian pornography. Okay perhaps not porn, but in what Christian households are we encouraging same sex marraige or nude photos? not mine. My point is that we must be careful to say that we are good, when we are not. I don't really drink, maybe once or twice a year, so for me to say drinking is bad doesn't speak from my heart. This is not the forum to list my sins, becuase that is between myself Jesus, and the Father Almighty, lol. seriously. In the spirit of tolerance and forgiveness, I have a word for Carrie.
Luke 6:41-42 (New International Version) 41"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 42How can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,' when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.
