The rumor mill has been a blaze with an initial report by InTouch magazine claiming that Usher Raymond filed for divorce early Thursday morning (June 11). The couple was reluctant to comment when it was found that official files had not surfaced at the Fulton county courthouse Thursday afternoon. However, the real divorce confirmation was revealed Friday morning.
The troubled couple has been the source of public ridicule since the beginning of their two year marriage. Some speculated as to whether or not this was just a publicity stunt. Even popular gossip site, Bossip.com, quoted an industry insider saying, “At this point Tameka doesn’t want to get divorced and everyone in her camp is thinking that he’s just doing this as a publicity stunt to sell more records. – like another Confession’s record.”
